Rita C. Wolf
79, died April 5, 2011.
Rita was born and raised in Trenton and formally of Metuchen before moving to Bridgewater in 1987. She graduated from Douglass College in 1953 with a BS in Home Economics and continued to be active with her alumni. Rita was a member of Temple Sholom where she was also a life member of Hadassah and the Temple Sisterhood. She was a member of the Raritan Valley Country Club where she enjoyed playing golf with her Ladies 9 Holers group. She also participated in water aerobics at the Club and the YMCA. Rita enjoyed reading, knitting, cooking and baking in her spare time, she will be sadly missed by family and friends.
She is predeceased by her sister Charlotte Shapiro.
Surviving are her husband Bert of 57 years, daughters Diane N. Wolf, Dr. Susan Wolf Greene and her husband Dr. Bruce Greene, brother S. Pat Cummings and grandson Mark.
Funeral services will be 12noon Friday at Temple Sholom, 594 N. Bridge St., Bridgewater. Interment will be at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Queens, NY. Arrangements by the Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave. Somerville, 908-725-3111.
