HELEN M. NOTORIO
A Stamford resident, passed away on October 13, 2008 at the age of 90 at Stamford Hospital. She was born on February 9, 1918 in Greenwich, CT. She is the daughter of the late Salvatore Fronio and Antoinette Ranucci Fronio. She is predeceased by her husband Julius A. Notorio. She is survived by one son Vincent J. Notorio and his wife Patricia of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and two daughters Merinda J. Sempey of Norwalk, CT and Betty Ann Darling and her husband William of Stamford, CT. She is also survived by two sisters Elizabeth Catena and Edna Lupo both residing in Stamford and one brother John Fronio of Germantown, NY. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by several brothers and sisters and one son-in-law Gerhard Sempey. Mrs. Notorio was a former member of the Columbettes, a women's auxiliary within the KFC of Stamford. She was a homemaker for over 70 years. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenwich, CT.
