Rosetta Pardini Enslein, of Hallieford, Virginia born August 17, 1929 passed away quietly amongst family on March 14, 2008. Rosetta was an early advocate and volunteer for Planned Parenthood of New York and most recently raised money for animal care at the Potpourri Shop of Mathews, VA. She was a staunch Truman Democrat, loved all things European as well as cooking for her friends and family. Rosetta also previously owned and operated the popular "Post Road Consignments" of Larchmont, NY. Her credo: "Eat well both of food and of life". She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Gerard Enslein of Hallieford, Va.; daughters, Lisa Murakami of Chappaqua, NY and Laurie Bain of Middleburg, Va.; sons, Mark Enslein of North Haven, CT and Dean Enslein of Terre Haute, IN; a sister, Nita Bartilucci of Greenville, SC.; brothers Gene Pardini of Lancaster Co., PA and Rene Pardini of Thornwood, NC. She was most proud of her grandchildren Meg, Kristin, Liz, Bryan, Grace, Katherine, Phoebe and Jake. A Memorial Service will be held at her home in Hallieford, Va. at 2:00 p.m. on April 26, 2008.
