Obituary for Janice Ebert
ARLINGTON -- Janice Glaser Ebert, 81, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014.
Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Dr. Ed Laymance officiating.
Jan was born Feb. 3, 1933, in Chicago, Ill., to Richard Julius Glaser and Josephine Franks Glaser. An Arlington resident since 1968, she was a member of Lake Arlington Baptist Church. Jan was a longtime Arlington Realtor and a member of the Arlington Board of Realtors. She worked with the Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau and was a Bass Hall volunteer. Jan was passionate about her family, friends, faith and country.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Donald Wayne Ebert Sr., in 2012.
Survivors: Daughters, Pam Ebert, O.D., Cari Ebert Starosta and husband, Doug, and Lin Ebert Zabojnik and husband, E.J.; son, Donald Wayne Ebert Jr. and wife, Teri; sisters, Joyce Frehling and Jill Norden; grandchildren, Michelle, Kristi, Nicole, Kim, Tim, Jesica, LaShawna, Matthew, Michael, Inna, Andrew and Dylan; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
