CALZARETT-Violet Amelia Calzarett, born January 5, 1911, New York City, NY., passed away April 1, 2004, Pasadena, CA., parents: Florestano Calzaretta (father) Concetta Messina Calzaretta (mother). Attended St. Mary's College at Notre Dame and New York University. Longtime resident of San Gabriel Valley. At various times, worked as a medical secretary on the staffs of City of Hope and USC School of Medicine and also worked w ith the Assistance League of Pasadena. She is survived by her sister, Nancy Watt of Palm Springs, CA; her nieces Nicola Skinner of Creston, CA, Nina Watt-Boumaila of New York City and Paula Watt-Meyer of Albuquerque, New Mexico, also survived by dear friends Ginny & Ken Moore and their family. She will be dearly remembered for her loving nature, her generousity, her sense of humor and her unfailing support of the Dodgers. A Mass of Remembrance will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in So. Pasadena at 11:0 0 AM on April 5th.
