     Gershon Wolf Scheuer was born on 1 May 1849 at Michelfeld, Baden, Germany.² He was the son of Hertz Scheuer and Adelheid Schwartzenberger.² Gershon Wolf Scheuer married Frederike (Rifka) Reis, daughter of Nathan Reis and Blum Hahn.¹ Gershon Wolf Scheuer was an officer of the Synagogue in Michelfeld in 1913 when he petitioned the Government to be relieved of the duties on th e Synagogue board and also as bookkeeper "rechner" - calculator of the Isaak Scheuer foundation because he was moving to Frankfurt to be near his children because of failing health.³ He died on 3 June 1913 at Frankfurt am Main, Germany, at age 64.^4,5 He was buried at Frankfurt Jewish Cemetery, Rat-Beil-Strasse, Frankfurt am Main, Germany.⁵

     Her married name was Scheuer. Frederike (Rifka) Reis was born on 8 June 1852 at Berwangen, Kr. Sinsheim, Baden, Germany.² Frederike (Rifka) Reis was also known as Ricke.³ She was the daughter of Nathan Reis and Blum Hahn.¹ Frederike (Rifka) Reis married Gershon Wolf Scheuer, son of Hertz Scheuer and Adelheid Schwartzenberger.¹ Frederike (Rifka) Reis died on 3 October 1918 at age 66.^1,3 She was buried at Frankfurt Jewish Cemetery, Rat-Beil-Strasse, Frankfurt am Main, Germany.³

     Her married name was Barth. Adelheid Scheuer was born on 9 August 1874 at Michelfeld, Baden, Germany.¹ She was the daughter of Gershon Wolf Scheuer and Frederike (Rifka) Reis.¹ Adelheid Scheuer married Louis Barth, son of Lazarus (Eliezer) Barth and Nanette (Nendel) Weingartner.¹ Adelheid Scheuer died on 30 January 1938 at New York, USA, at age 63.¹

     Julius Jordan was born on 5 September 1890 at Freudental, Württemberg.² He was the son of Leopold Jordan and Fanny (Fratel) Stein.² Julius Jordan married Nanette Barth, daughter of Louis Barth and Adelheid Scheuer, on 28 August 1921.³ He fought in WW I for four years, ultimately attaining the rank of dragoon. He got awards for his service serveral times. He was a British Prisoner of War for one year. The Jordan family lived in Freudental until February 1936. Julius Jordan was a cattle dealer in Vaihingen/Enz until 1936 was he was forbidden to continue his business. In 1936 the family moved to Ludwigsburg for about a year until they were able to emigrate to America in June 1937. It was very difficult for the Jordans to earn a living during their first few years in the US. Julius worked as a truck driver and Nanette as a seamstress. In 1968 the family lived in Irvington, NJ.³ Julius Jordan died in 1965 at Newark, New Jersey, USA.¹

     Lazar Barth was born on 24 September 1898 at Flehingen, Baden, Germany.¹ He was the son of Louis Barth and Adelheid Scheuer.¹ Lazar Barth married Hazel Menke in 1933.¹ Lazar Barth died on 11 June 1944 at New York, USA, at age 45.¹

     Hazel Menke was born on 18 May 1900 at St. Louis, Missouri, USA.¹ She married Lazar Barth, son of Louis Barth and Adelheid Scheuer, in 1933.¹ As of 1933,her married name was Barth.
