Maria Mical née Della Monica (widowed Ringi)
     Maria Della Monica died at age 43, according to her granddaughter Selma Michaels Calzareth. She was born on 5 August 1865 at Cava de' Tirreni, Salerno, Campania, Italy.1 She was the daughter of Fiorentino Alfonzo Della Monica and Filomena Penna.2,3 Another source suggests that Maria Della Monica was born Cava di Salerno is today Cava dei Tirreni on 8 September 1867 at Cava de' Tirreni, Salerno, Campania, Italy.4,5 Maria Della Monica was also known as Mary Ringi. She married Gennaro Ringi, son of Vincenzo Ringio and Filomena Cuofano, on 11 September 1882 at Avvocata neighborhood, Naples, Italy.6,7,8 Maria Della Monica immigrated on 26 January 1885 to Manhattan, New York, New York, United States, Archimede, at age 18, under the name Maria Dellamonico Maria was traveling to Palermo, Italy. She, age 24, appeared on the census in the household of Gennaro Ringi at 185 Mott, New York, New York, USA.9 Maria Della Monica lived between 1892 and 1906 at Danbury, Fairfield, Connecticut. She married Giovanni Mical, son of Vincenzo Micallo and Domenica Viscalzieri, on 21 March 1896 at Brewster, New York.10,11,3 As of 21 March 1896,her married name was Mical.3 Maria Della Monica and Giovanni Mical appeared on the census of 1 June 1900 at 12 Henry Street, Danbury, Fairfield, Connecticut; The children from Maria's first marriage to Gennaro Ringi have not been found elsewhere in the 1900 census. In all likelihood they too were living in the Mical household at that time, but failed to be enumerated with the family.12 Maria Della Monica died on 28 October 1916 at Greenpoint Hospital, Brooklyn, New York, at age 51 Based on burial in Calvary Cemetery on November 4, 1916.13,2 She was first buried on 4 November 1916 at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, New York; She was originally buried in Section 41, Range 30, Plot R, Grave 13. The family gave up the grave when she was disinterred and moved to the Mical family plot, purchased in September 1917 by her husband, Giovanni Mical.13 She was reinturred on 4 October 1917 in Section 22, Range 1, Plot H, Grave 2 after being moved from another grave at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, New York.14

Ferdinand Blum married Rosa Kaufmann, daughter of Lehmann Kaufmann and Barbara (Babette) Lichtenberger. Ferdinand Blum died on 18 August 1915 at Mannheim, Baden, Germany, at age 57.
