Alfred Blum married Julia Haas.1 Alfred Blum was a furniture dealer and owner of a furniture wholesaler. He was also a representative for furniture factories at Erbprinzenstraße 4, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.1 He and Julia Haas emigrated in 1939 from Karlsruhe, Germany, to the Netherlands.2 Alfred Blum lived before 1940 at Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.3 Alfred and Julia were arrested on 9 April 1943 in Zwolle, Netherlands and within a few weeks were deported to Sobibor.1 He died on 14 May 1943 at Extermination Camp, Sobibor, Poland, at age 72.3
