Jakob Löwenstein witnessed the marriage of Siegfried Krieger and Meta Bär on 12 October 1920 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.³ Jakob Löwenstein was Owner of Eisenwaren und Landmaschinen with brother Julius. He appeared in the German Census of 1939 at Adolf Hitlerplatz 20, Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. His date and place of birth were given as 22.8.1876 at Weingarten, Baden. All of his grandparents were Jewish. The other people listed in the household were Helena Bär and Babette (Sofie) Bär.⁴ Jakob Löwenstein died circa 1942 at Auschwitz Death Camp, Oswiecim, Poland.^5,1,2 He died after 10 August 1942 at Auschwitz Death Camp, Oswiecim, Poland. Klara Fuchs Most likely died as listed ( 5.8.42 Auschwitz) even though age varies by four years from Weingarten OSB to Der Geschicte dem ZJuden in Wengarten" . Based on Husband's step mother, she and son lived at same address. She was born on 25 July 1883 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.^1,2 She was the daughter of Maier Mendel (Stengel) Fuchs and Helena Hanna Prager. Klara Fuchs married Sigmund Fuchs, son of Moses Fuchs and Friederike Hauf, on 8 October 1907 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.³ Klara Fuchs died circa 5 August 1942 at Auschwitz, Poland, Transported to Auschwitz that day, declared dead.⁴
