He was under protection at Wscheraditz and owned a little house there. He supported his family through Handel [trading].4 He died on 31 October 1828 at Wossow, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary.2

     Abraham Gratum was the son of Dawid Gratum.2 Abraham Gratum was a familiant at Wossow, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary.3 Wolf Gratum, Aron Gratum and Abraham Gratum appeared on the census of 1793 at Horzowitz, Berounsky, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary; his wife, Sara, their first-born son, Wolf, Wolf's wife Esther and their daughter, Shile, his second-born son, Aaron, Aaron's wife Rachel, their daughter Glückel and his third-born son, Abraham.4 He married Theresia Raubiczek circa 1799.1 On 29 July 1799 he received permit no. 24929 which allowed him to marry and to work as a tanner.1 Abraham's Familiant position was transfered from Wossow to Praskoles according to governmental decree nr. 23874 issued on 30 June 1830.1,3 Abraham Gratum died on 4 December 1846 at Berounsky, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary.1
