     Sophie Oppenheimer was born on 16 January 1843 at Eppingen, Baden, Germany.3 She was the daughter of Marx (Mordechai) Oppenheimer and Johanne (Haine) Heinsheimer. Sophie Oppenheimer married Max Eichtersheimer, son of Faiber Eichtersheimer and Jentle (Jette) Heinsheimer, on 17 February 1864 at Stebbach, Baden, Germany.3 As of 17 February 1864,her married name was Eichtersheimer.
