     Sara Loeb Stengel was born in 1775 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.1 She was the daughter of Löw Esaias and Pessche (?)2,3 Sara Loeb Stengel married Nathan Joseph Maier, son of Joseph Maier and Ritsch (?). Her married name was Maier. Sara Loeb Stengel died on 25 April 1836 at Heidelsheim, Baden, Germany.4

  3. [S54] The surname Weinberger seems to be incorrect. As far as is known Sara Löw's siblings adopted the surnames Stengel and Löwenstein. It is also interesting to note that Sara is not included on the list of Esaias's siblings in his probate records. These two items may indicate that these families were not in close contact, despite the proximity of Heidelsheim and Weingarten to one another.
