Barnett Schindler immigrated circa 1881.3 He immigrated in 1887.2 He immigrated circa 1889 to New York, New York.7 He and Alice Stein lived in May 1899 at 270 Cherry Street, New York, New York.8
     An unknown person was listed as the head of household on the 1905 New York State Census on 1 June 1905 25 - 27 Ridge Street, New York, New York.      Josef Gratum was born in 1801 at Praskolesy, Berounsky, Bohemia.1 He was the son of Abraham Gratum and Theresia Raubiczek.1 Josef Gratum was a salesman and familiant at Praskolesy, Berounsky, Bohemia.2 He received marriage allowance Nr. 31665 on 6 August 1832.3 He married Katharina Fürth, daughter of Seligman Fürth and Lea Robitschek. Josef Gratum witnessed the birth of Wilhelm Fried on 24 December 1856 at Ješetice, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary, serving as the Sandek.4,5,6 Josef Gratum was lease-holder in Ostrov. He died on 1 June 1881 at House No. 4, Priseka, Bohemia.7 He was buried on 3 June 1881 at Jewish Cemetery, Trhový Štepánov, Benesov district, Stredoceský Kraj, Bohemia.7

Her married name was Gratum. Katharina Fürth died on 17 September 1873 at Ostrov, Benešov, Bohemia, at age 65.2 She was buried on 19 September 1873 at Jewish Cemetery, Trhový Štepánov, Benesov district, Stredoceský Kraj, Bohemia.2
