Wenige Jahre später hat er daneben noch eine Viehhandlung eröffnet. In den Adreßbüchern 1876 bis 1886 firmierte er als >> Wirt und Viehhändler<< in der Pliensaustraße 46. 1900 wird er nur noch als Viehhändler bezeichnet. Er wohnte in der Obertorstraße 45/47, dann bis zu seinem Tod als Privatier in der Obertorstraße 45,2.1 Moriz (Moses) Löwenthal died on 12 March 1915 at Esslingen, Württemberg, Germany, at age 84.1

     Leopold Löwenthal was born on 12 February 1865 at Esslingen, Württemberg, Germany.1 He was the son of Moriz (Moses) Löwenthal and Emma Thalheimer.1 Leopold Löwenthal married Jette Wertheimer on 31 August 1897 at Cannstatt, Württemberg, Germany.2 Leopold Löwenthal joinltly took overwith his brother-in-law Moriz Oppenheimer, his father's Viehhandlung [Cattle operation] at Obertorstraße 45 (A 1900). in the trade register on 8 January 1895 the "Löwenthal & Oppenheimer Co."was entered. Teilhaber der Offenen Handelsgesellschaft waren Moriz Löwenthal und Moriz Oppenheimer; als Prokurist wirkte Leopold Löwenthal. Die Firma ist am 13.Juni.1902 erloschen, vermutlich im Zusammenhang mit der Zurruhesetzung von Moriz Löwenthal und wurde als >>Firma Moriz Oppenheimer<< fortgeführt. Leopold Löwenthal eröffnete wenig später eine Handlung für chemisch-technische Produckte, Waschmittel, Öl-und Fettwaren (A 1910/31 Obertorstraße 45,1). Er starb am 4.März 1932 und wurde im israelitischen Teil des Ebershaldenfriedhofs beigesetzt (NIV-78). Nach seinem Tod betrieb ette das Geschäft weiter bis zur zwangsweisen Schließung im Dezember 1938 (es befand sich bis zuletzt in der Obertorstraße 45,1 A 1935/37).2 Leopold Löwenthal died on 4 March 1932 at Esslingen, Württemberg, Germany, at age 67.2

     Rosalie Löwenthal was born on 8 December 1870 at Esslingen, Württemberg, Germany.1 She was the daughter of Moriz (Moses) Löwenthal and Emma Thalheimer.1 Rosalie Löwenthal married Moses (Moriz) Oppenheimer on 14 August 1894 at Cannstatt, Württemberg, Germany.1 As of 14 August 1894,her married name was Oppenheimer. In 1940 she went to the Jewish home for the aged. She was resettled to Tigerfeld in April 1942.2 Rosalie Löwenthal was deported on 22 August 1942 at Tigerfeld, Württemberg, Germany, to Theresienstadt.2 She died after 29 September 1942 at Extermination Camp, Maly Trostinec, Belarus.2
