Emma Schweizer was listed in the household of Anselm Bär at Kaiserallee 117, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany, in the 1939 German Minority Census; 22 October 1878, Untergrombach, Landkreis Karlsruhe.1 Her date and place of birth were given as 05 February 1885, Offenburg. None of her grandparents was Jewish.. Emma Schweizer and Anselm Bär immigrated on 25 April 1940 to Hoboken, New Jersey, aboard the SS Westernland.4,2 She died on 28 June 1963 at New York, New York, at age 78.5,6
