He was under protection at Wscheraditz and owned a little house there. He supported his family through Handel [trading].4 He died on 31 October 1828 at Wossow, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary.2

Ancestors of Alex Rafael
     Abraham Gratum was a familiant at Wossow, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary.3 He was born circa 1769.4 He was the son of Dawid Gratum.2 Abraham Gratum appeared on the census of 1793 at Horzowitz, Berounsky, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary; his wife, Sara, their first-born son, Wolf, Wolf's wife Esther and their daughter, Shile, his second-born son, Aaron, Aaron's wife Rachel, their daughter Glückel and his third-born son, Abraham.5 He married Theresia Raubiczek circa 1799.1 On 29 July 1799 he received permit no. 24929 which allowed him to marry and to work as a tanner.1 Abraham's Familiant position was transfered from Wossow to Praskoles according to governmental decree nr. 23874 issued on 30 June 1830.1,3 Abraham Gratum died on 4 December 1846 at Berounsky, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary.1

     Michael Gratum was born in 1806.1 He was the son of Abraham Gratum and Theresia Raubiczek.1 Michael Gratum and Katharina Fürth received marriage allowance Nr. 70889 on 31 December 1840 at Amschelberg (Kosová Horá), Bohemia, Austria-Hungary.2 Michael Gratum married Katharina Fürth after 31 December 1840.2 On 4 January 1844 with the governmental order Nr. 65700 his Familienstelle ("family position") was transferred from Amschelberg to the city of Beraun (Beroun).2 Michael Gratum lived after 13 November 1869 at Prague, Bohemia.3
