     Siegfried Krieger was born on 12 April 1894 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.4 He was the son of Nathan Krieger and Babette Fuchs. Siegfried's hebrew name was ïàð ïá ìàåîù (Schmuel ben Natan). Siegfried Krieger was named for Samuel Prager, his mother's maternal grandfather.5 Siegfried Krieger was schooled Volksschule 1 -8 Kl. He began military service on 10 October 1914 in the German Infantry.6 He ended military service in 1918.7 He was a cattle dealer about 1920 to 1938 at Tann, Bayern, Germany. He married Meta Bär, daughter of Adolf Bär and Jette Ida Löwenstein, on 12 October 1920 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.8 Siegfried Krieger owned a business with brother Karl Krieger and worked in Tann, Bavaria.
The Business was started on 12 February 1921 and confiscated on 20 July 1938. Siegfried Krieger lived at Donnersbergerstraße 9, Munich, Bayern, Germany. He was issued Kennkarte Nr. A03999 under the name Siegfried Isael Krieger Munich 16 March 1939. Additional information provided included that he was born on April 12, 1894 at Weingarten, L.Kr. Karlsruhe and that part of his right index finger was missing.6 He applied for an Immigration Visa as a quota immigrant on 8 February 1940 at U.S. Consulate, Stuttgart, Württemberg, Germany. Siegfried Krieger was traveling to his his brother-in-law, Ludwig Baer, who resided at R.D. 1, St. Johnsville, N.Y..9 He immigrated on 4 March 1940 to New York, New York, aboard the S.S. Washington, which sailed from Genoa, Italy.10 He was a butcher in December 1940 at Lepp & Baer, St. Johnsville, New York. He received his first citizenship papers on 1 May 1941 at Supreme Court of Montgomery County, Fonda, New York, USA.11 He lived in 1945 at 15 Prospect St., Fort Plain, New York.

Siegfried Krieger filed a Petition for Naturalization on 31 July 1945 at Supreme Court of Montgomery County, Fonda, New York, USA. He was naturalized on 30 August 1945 at Supreme Court of Montgomery County, Fonda, New York, USA. The personal description of holder as of date of naturalization was: Age: 51 years, color: white, complexion: brunette, color of eyes: brown, color of hair: black, height: 5 feet 9 inches, weight: 220 lbs., visible distinctive marks: second finger of right hand missing, (an unknown value.)12 The yahrzeit date of Siegfried Krieger was 17 Adar (I) 5733. He lived before February 1973 at 450 Fulton Street, Hempstead, New York.13 He died on 19 February 1973 at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, at age 78 as the result of a stroke two days earlier.14 He was buried at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, New Jersey.13

Meta Bär was named for Mina Rothschild, her mother's paternal grandmother.2 Meta Bär married Siegfried Krieger, son of Nathan Krieger and Babette Fuchs, on 12 October 1920 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.3 As of 12 October 1920,her married name was Krieger. She was issued Kennkarte Nr. A04000 under the name Meta Sara Krieger geb. Baer Munich 16 March 1939. Additional information provided included that she was born on April 19, 1900 at Weingarten, L.Kr. Karlsruhe.4 Meta Bär immigrated with Siegfried Krieger on 4 March 1940 to New York, New York, aboard the S.S. Washington, which sailed from Genoa, Italy.5 Meta Bär was a glove maker on 12 September 1940 at Atis Gloves Inc., 9-11 Phair, Gloversville, Montgomery, New York. She received her first citizenship papers on 27 September 1941 at Supreme Court of Montgomery County, Fonda, New York, USA.6 She lived between 24 February 1942 and 1946 at 15 Prospect St., Fort Plain, New York. She was able to speak English and German.

Helena Bär married Jakob Löwenstein, son of Hermann (Herz) Löwenstein and Emilie Wolff, on 1 December 1910 at Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.2 Helena Bär was listed in the household of Jakob Löwenstein at Adolf Hitlerplatz 20, Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany, in the 1939 German Minority Census; 22.8.1876 at Weingarten, Baden.3 Her date and place of birth were given as 28.7.1881 at Untergrombach, Baden.
