Arthur Rafael was born on 29 January 1892 at Gablonz, Böhmen, Austria-Hungary.^1,2,3 He lived between 29 January 1892 and 24 October 1912 at Josef Pfeiferstrasse 31, Gablonz, Böhmen, Austria-Hungary.⁴ He was the son of Max Rafael and Bertha Jacobsen. Jette Ida Löwenstein was born on 18 March 1873 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.⁵ She was the daughter of Hermann (Herz) Löwenstein and Edel (Emilie) Wolf. Until obtaining a copy of her birth certificate in 1939, in the process of obtaining an immigration visa, it was thought that her birthday was March 17th. It was celebrated on that day throughout her life, and that is the reason it appears as such on her gravestone.
Jette Ida Löwenstein married Adolf Bär, son of Bernhard Nathan Bär and Wilhelmina (Mina) Blum, on 29 April 1897 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.⁶ As of 29 April 1897,her married name was Bär. Jette Ida Löwenstein appeared in the German Census of 1939 at Robert-Wagner Str. 9, Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. Her date and place of birth were given as 18 March 1873 at Weingarten. All of her grandparents were Jewish..⁷ She lived from 1940 to 1958? At 199 Main Street, Fort Plain, New York.⁸ Jette Ida Löwenstein applied for an Immigration Visa as a quota immigrant on 14 February 1940 at U.S. Consulate, Stuttgart, Württemberg, Germany. Jette Ida Löwenstein was traveling to her son, Fritz Baer, who resided at Fort Plain, NY.⁹ She immigrated on 4 March 1940 to New York, New York, aboard the S.S. Washington. She traveled with her daughter, Meta, son-in-law, Siegfried Krieger, and granddaughter, Lore.¹⁰ According to her alien registration form, on 7 December 1940 Jette Ida Löwenstein was described as: color of eyes brown, color of hair grey, height 5' 6", weight 150 lbs. She was able to speak German and some English. She died on 14 December 1959 at Fort Plain, New York, at age 86 Cancer. She was buried at Cedar Park Cemetery, New Jersey. The yahrzeit date of Jette Ida Löwenstein was 13 Kislev 5720.

Karl Stephan Krieger married Hertha Margaretha Fuchs, daughter of Berthold (Baruch) Fuchs and Hannchen Mai, on 18 October 1923 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.³ Karl Stephan Krieger was living before 1939 Munich and Weingarten. He emigrated on 20 January 1939 from Munich, Bayern, Germany, to Argentina by way of Lison, Portugal. He was living after 14 February 1939 Buenos Aires, Argentina. He died on 30 October 1987 at Argentina, at age 86.^1,2
