     Wilhelm Michael Gutmann was born on 9 March 1877 at Rohrbach, Baden, Germany.1,2 He was the son of Nathan Gutmann and Nanette (Nanni) Wolf. Wilhelm Michael Gutmann married Sophie Schweizer on 12 July 1905 at Eppingen, Baden, Germany. Wilhelm Michael Gutmann died on 19 August 1914 at age 37 in World War I in the Battle of Mulhouse (Mülhausen.)3

As of 12 July 1905,her married name was Gutmann. Sophie Schweizer died on 26 December 1949 at Johannesburg, South Africa, at age 71.4
