An unknown person submitted a Page of Testimony to commemorate Julius Krieger, a victim of the holocaust.¹ He was born on 20 October 1896 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. He was the son of Kaufmann Krieger and Bertha Bär. Julius Krieger appeared in the German Census of 1939. His date and place of birth were given as 20.X.96 at Weingarten. All of his grandparents were Jewish..² He died before 1945 at Auschwitz Death Camp, Oswiecim, Poland.³ He was declared dead as of 8 May 1945 and was a well respected deaf artisit.

     Gerson Krieger was listed as the head of household on the 1880 census on 8 June 1880 142 Third Street, New York, New York. Also living in the house was his wife, Mina Östreicher, his son, Nathan Krieger, his daughter, Isidore Krieger and Fanny Krieger.²
     Gerson Krieger was listed as the head of household on the 1900 census on 9 June 1900 250 Seventh Ave, New York, New York. Also living in the house was.³ He died on 27 October 1906 at New York, New York, at age 69.⁴ He was buried on 29 October 1906 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York.⁴
