     Jette Roos was born on 3 April 1808 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.1 She was the daughter of Raphael Loew Roos and Judith (Jette) Wolf.2 Jette Roos married Elkan (Abraham) Baer, son of Liebmann Aron Bär and Blum Löw Simon, on 24 February 1830 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. As of 24 February 1830,her married name was Baer. Jette Roos died on 3 November 1847 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany, at age 39.2

     Elkan (Abraham) Baer was born on 23 September 1803 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. Elkan (Abraham) Baer was also known as Elkam Baer. He was the son of Liebmann Aron Bär and Blum Löw Simon. Elkan (Abraham) Baer married Jette Roos, daughter of Raphael Loew Roos and Judith (Jette) Wolf, on 24 February 1830 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. Elkan (Abraham) Baer married Babette Schmalz, daughter of Hirsch Israel Schmalz and Fanny Löw, on 9 March 1848 at Durlach, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.1 Elkan (Abraham) Baer died on 4 January 1861 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany, at age 57.
