Kurt Gimnicher Gimson was born on 24 November 1918 at Krefeld, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.¹ He was the son of Sally Gimnicher and Klara (Claire) Hirsch. Kurt Gimnicher Gimson married Mildred Hassey circa 1953.¹ Kurt Gimnicher Gimson was a textile sales representative for Brochers Trading Co. between 1968 and 1991 at New York, New York.¹ He died on 12 February 2009 at Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, Pennsylvania, at age 90.¹

He was buried on 16 February 2009 at Mount Hebron Cemetery, Upper Montclair, New Jersey.¹
