      Stanley Baer was also known as Siegfried Baer.1 He was born on 5 December 1901 at Rappman, Germany.2,1 He was the son of Nathan Bär and Bertha Wuerzburger. Stanley Baer is listed in the EIDB arriving at the port of New York with the name Siegfried Bär on Series, Roll, Frame arriving on 1 October 1923 on the ship SS George Washington. He was going to his uncle, Julius Baer, 5616 Marlboro Road, Pittsburgh, PA. He was 5 feet 6 inches tall, had dark hair and gray eyes.1 He lived on 9 December 1952 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.3 He died on 15 November 1988 at age 86.2

Max Held lived before 1939 at Marktplatz 10, Wertheim, Baden, Germany.2 He was listed in the household of Robert Baer at Adolf Hitlerstr. 64, Graben, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany, in the 1939 German Minority Census; 2.2.1886 at Graben.1 His date and place of birth were given as 9.3.1879 at Wertheim. All of his grandparents were Jewish..1 Max Held died circa 1943 at Auschwitz Death Camp, Oswiecim, Poland. Gerti Held submitted a Page of Testimony on 3 March 1977 to commemorate Max Held, a victim of the holocaust.2
