He and Berta Hahn lived from 1894 to 1941 at Gablonz an der Neisse (Jablonec nad Nisou), Böhmen, Czechoslovakia.3 Friedrich Fried and Berta Hahn were engaged circa September 1894.4 Marriage banns for Friedrich Fried and Berta Hahn were published 11., 18., 25. May 1895 at C. Budejovice and Jablonec n/N., Bohemia, Austria-Hungary. Bedrich Fried married Berta Hahn, daughter of Ignaz Hahn and Elisabeth Pick, on 2 June 1895 at Prague, Austria-Hungary, The marriage was officiated by an unknown person . The witnesses were Moses Fried and Wolf Berger.5,6,7 Friedrich Fried witnessed the birth of Felix Fried on 1 November 1902 at Neuer Markt 14, Gablonz an der Neisse (Jablonec nad Nisou), Böhmen, Czechoslovakia.8
Friedrich Fried witnessed the marriage of Dr. Josef Weil and Mitzi Fried on 28 June 1923 at Synagogue, Gablonz an der Neisse (Jablonec nad Nisou), Böhmen, Czechoslovakia.9 As of 1942, Friedrich Fried lived at Ladska (?), Podebrady, Czechoslovakia. He was deported on 9 June 1942 at Podebrady, Czechoslovakia, to the Theresienstadt Ghetto with transport AAc-261.2,10 He died on 21 November 1942 at AII. Krankenstube 1, Theresienstadt Concentration Camp, Terezín, Czechoslovakia, at age 81 from Pneumonia.2,11,12 He was buried on 23 November 1942 at Theresienstadt Concentration Camp, Terezín, Czechoslovakia.12,2

He lived with Dr. Josef Weil and Mitzi Fried between 1938 and 1942 at Podebrady, Czechoslovakia.4 Fred Weil was deported with Dr. Josef Weil and Mitzi Fried on 9 June 1942 at Kolín, Stredoceský Kraj, Bohemia, Czechoslovakia, to the Theresienstadt Ghetto.1 Fred Weil and Mitzi Fried were deported on 6 October 1944 at Theresienstadt Concentration Camp, Terezín, Czechoslovakia, to Auschwitz.5 Fred Weil died between October 1944 and May 1945 at Auschwitz Extermination Camp, Oswiecim, Poland.6

In turn Siegmund taught Karl Klepetar (his cousin) the feather trade and helped him to start a feather cleaning plant in Böhmisch Leipa(but Karl's business did not work out). He was born on 30 November 1878 at Pilsen, Czechoslovakia. He was the son of Ludwig Glaser and Wilhelmina Hahn.1 Siegmund Glaser married Ludmilla Schalek on 25 December 1904 at Votice, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary.1 Siegmund Glaser was whosale exporter of feathers and downs with the firm "Glaser & Taussig." He and Ludmilla Schalek lived before World War II at Revolucni 3, Praha I, Czechoslovakia.2 Siegmund Glaser and Ludmilla Schalek lived during World War II at Zatecka 10, Praha V, Czechoslovakia.2 Siegmund Glaser died on 18 August 1942 at Ghetto Lodz (Litzmannstadt), Poland, at age 63. Viktor Glaser submitted a Page of Testimony on 17 July 1981 to commemorate Siegmund Glaser, a victim of the holocaust.3
