The 1729 census of the the Jews in the district of Bretten lists Raphael as born in Neckarsulm and under protection in Weingarten since 15 May 1722.      Esaias Rafael was noted in Geschichte der Juden im Landkreis Karlsruhe. He was born before 1720 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. He was the son of Raphael Loew. In listing of Jews of Bretten there are two Herz Weingartners, #704 and #705. One has the middle name of Isaak and the other Isaias (Schai). I believe these are the same persons. He was born in 1743 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. He was the son of Esaias Rafael and Rehle Moses. Herz Esaias Weingärtner moved to Bretten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany, in 1772 from Weingarten, Baden. He married Nendel Ettlinger on 23 November 1772 at Bretten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. Herz Esaias Weingärtner was Merchant. He was citizen on 4 March 1813 at Bretten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. He died on 14 July 1827 at Bretten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. He was buried at Obergrombach, Baden.

She married Lolo Nalos in 1932. As of 1932,her married name was Nalos. Ottilie Mautner married Eduard Elisak circa March 1939. As of circa March 1939,her married name was Elisak. Ottilie Mautner married Eduard Elisak in April 1939. Ottilie Mautner was deported on 31 October 1941 at Prague, Czechoslovakia, to the Lodz ghetto.¹ She died in 1941 at Ghetto Lodz (Litzmannstadt), Poland.

     Auguste Krieger was born on 21 April 1868 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.¹ She was the daughter of Simon Krieger and Lisette (Liselotte) Stahl. Auguste Krieger died on 18 May 1869 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany, at age 1.¹

     Lisette (Liselotte) Stahl was born on 17 October 1827 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. She was the daughter of Simon Stahl and Carolina Wimpfheimer. Lisette (Liselotte) Stahl married Simon Krieger, son of Jacob Krieger and Zippora Reichert, on 12 March 1861 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. As of 12 March 1861,her married name was Krieger. Lisette (Liselotte) Stahl died on 1 March 1910 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany, at age 82.

     Julius Krieger was born on 22 April 1869 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.¹ He was the son of Simon Krieger and Lisette (Liselotte) Stahl. Julius Krieger died on 8 May 1870 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany, at age 1.¹

     Sigmund Krieger was born on 29 July 1870 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. He was the son of Simon Krieger and Lisette (Liselotte) Stahl. Sigmund Krieger died on 13 August 1870 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.¹
