Raphael Loew was also known as Raphael Loew.1 He died at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.1 He was received into protection (Schutz) in 1722. The 1729 census of the the Jews in the district of Bretten lists Raphael as born in Neckarsulm and under protection in Weingarten since 15 May 1722. Further information shows him first received at Weingarten on 19 Oct 1705. [Wolmershauser, letter 16 Jun 1999]1

     Herz Esaias Weingärtner In a listing of houses in Bretten of 1773 the value of his house was deemed 600 florins;
In listing of Jews of Bretten there are two Herz Weingartners, #704 and #705. One has the middle name of Isaak and the other Isaias (Schai). I believe these are the same persons. He was born in 1743 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. He was the son of Esaias Rafael and Rehle Moses. Herz Esaias Weingärtner moved to Bretten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany, in 1772 from Weingarten, Baden. He married Nendel Ettlinger on 23 November 1772 at Bretten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. Herz Esaias Weingärtner was Merchant. He was citizen on 4 March 1813 at Bretten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. He died on 14 July 1827 at Bretten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. He was buried at Obergrombach, Baden.

He married Helena Vanousova on 13 August 1938 at Prague, Czechoslovakia. Erich Mautner died on 22 January 1980 at Rumburk, Czechoslovakia, at age 68. The remains of Erich Mautner were cremated on 28 January 1980 at Librec, Czechoslovakia.

She married Lolo Nalos in 1932. As of 1932,her married name was Nalos. Ottilie Mautner married Eduard Elisak circa March 1939. As of circa March 1939,her married name was Elisak. Ottilie Mautner married Eduard Elisak in April 1939. Ottilie Mautner was deported on 31 October 1941 at Prague, Czechoslovakia, to the Lodz ghetto.1 She died in 1941 at Ghetto Lodz (Litzmannstadt), Poland.
