Patricia "Pat" Goodyear, nee Gershon, 71, of Northbrook, died Sept. 7, in Highland Park Hospital.
Mrs. Goodyear was born March 11, 1928 in Chicago. She was a former Chicago Public School teacher for 37 years. She taught English and social studies at Luella and Boone schools.
She was a member of Temple Beth El, Northbrook, and a board member of the National Council of Jewish Women.
Survivors include her husband, Werner, of Northbrook; two daughters, Holly Ginsburg of Highland Park and Mimi Goodyear of Deerfield; and three grandchildren, Alyssa, Samantha and Hilary of Highland Park.
Services were held Sept. 9 at The Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd, Skokie. Interment was in Shalom Memorial Park, Arlington Heights.
