Mrs. Preston R. CRABILL. Mrs. Joan Day CRABILL, 42, of 235 West Thruston Blvd., Dayton, wife of former Springfield Preston R. CRABILL, died Friday evening in their home. Mrs. CRABILL formerly was a researcher for Time-Life, Inc., and had lived at various times in New York, and Greenwich and Hartford, Conn., and the Hague, Netherlands. She was a graduate of Rosemaryhall girls prep school and had attended Wellesley College. Other survivors include two daughters, Holly M. and Sara P.; a son, Preston M., all of Dayton; one sister, Mrs. Karl D. PETTIT, Jr., of Princeton, N.J.; twin brothers, John Wood DAY of Hyannisport, Mass., and Samuel Harvey DAY of Greenwich, Conn. Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Fairmont Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Dr. Pickford Lang. Arrangements are being handled by the Boyer Funeral Home, Dayton.
