Dr. Theodora E. Baer, fondly known as Teddi Baer, past on October 21, 1997, in Denver, Colorado.

Services for family members are being held in Hawaii with Teddi's parents and brothers Saturday, October 25, 1997, and with other family members in Santa Fe on Wednesday, October 29, 1997.

Teddi was an advocate for youth and an ambassador to the field of education.

Teddi received her Ph.D., Training and Learning Technologies from the University of New Mexico in 1990 and received her M.A. from Teachers College-Columbia University; B.A., Purdue University for Elementary Education.

She continued to share her talents with Los Alamos National Laboratories and was employed by Allied Signal Corp., here in New Mexico.

Teddi provided service to numerous organizations including; American Association of University Women, New Mexico Advocates for Children Youth and Families, National Council of Teachers of English and Newspapers in the Classroom National Program. Survivors include her husband, Fred Bailey; parents: Bob and Elise Baer; brothers: Ron and Jeff Baer; step-daughter, Sabyl Horneck and granddaughter; step-son, David Bailey.
