Gratum family
I have exhausted the book of familiants HBF 8 personally. The relations in the Gratum family are completely clear according to it.
Joseph Gratum, father of Marie Gratum , was son of Abraham and Theresia born Raubiczek, as follows
Fol. 71
Familiant ´s name Abraham Gratum
His parents Dawid Gratum ( mother is not noticed but Dawid ´s wife may be caecilia born taussig see parents of Aron and Wolf Gratum )
His wife Theresia born Raubiczek

Noticed Abraham died 4.12.1846
Sons Joseph born 1801
Heinrich born 1803
Michael born 1806
The familiant position ( of abraham ) was according to gubernial dekret dated 30.June 1830 no. 23874 transfered from Wossow to Praskoles
After Abraham Gratum the familiant position received his first son
Joseph gratum
His wife was Katharina born Fuerth
Konsens 6. August 1832 no. 31665

Where lived Gratum family ....???
They don ´t seem to live in Praskoles, though they had familiant position in Praskoles ( and Wossow).
The HBMa 865 Amschelberg includes more villages which were in the Jewish Community of Amschelberg. I chose this book to study because it should include also Jeschetitz . I don ´t think that it includes Vlaschim ( Vlaschim had its own register books ). The problem is that in these older records you can usually find the house number and not the village!
In David Gratum ´s birth record there is a notice that his father was from Wet.. kowitz ??? ( unfortunately it is not well readable ! ).I will find out which villages the Community of Amschelberg included . If I know all the places in the Amschelberg Community I may understand what does this Wet.. kowitz ??? mean.
However, in the birth records of Joseph Gratum there is not noticed that they or their parents lived in Wlaschim....
In the birth record of Abraham (son of Moses and Marie born Gratum )in 1867 in Prcic there is recorded that Josef Gratum .... was " a lease holder in Wostrow ".
So Wostrow is also possible !!!

Subject Re Jewish Genealogy Research
Dear Mrs. Simonovská,
Thank you so very much for sending me results so quickly. I understand that you cannot research the Jacobsens. I do not have any information on the siblings of Friedrich Fried that you mentioned.
All of what you have found so far is very interesting. The information that I had previously indicated that the Gratum family was from Vlasim. Were the records of Vlasim included in those of Kosova Hora or was the Gratum family from Kosova Hora?
I found some information about the Jewish amilies of Kosova Hora at http//freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~pnlowe/amschelberg.htm . The information that appears possibly related to the Fürth and Gratum families apparently taken from the Familianten book is
Stelle 7. Michael Gratum (Eltern Abraham und Theresie Gratum) heir. 1840 Katharina Fürth und wurde 1844 nach Beroun transferiert.
Stelle 17. Seligmann Fürth sonst Abraham Jablonsky (Eltern Joseph Abraham, Maria) heir, 1799 Rebeka Pollakin. Söhne *1804 Samuel, *1816 Guttmann, *1818 Abraham erhielt 1848 Ehekonsens auf Ackerbau, *1823 Enoch. Laut Dekret v. 1836 Katharina Weiss
Also, I found that someone had posted information on a David Gratum and his descendants at http//freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~erichl/lewitus_ged/people/p000000a.htm#I460 . Perhaps he is the same brother of Marie Gratum that you listed.
In case this might be helpful, from the index of Familiant records available from the "Jewish Family History Center" ( www.toledot.org), I found
