     Moses Fuchs was born on 2 January 1865 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. He was born on 3 January 1865 at Weingarten, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.1,3,2 He was the son of Hirsch Fuchs and Fanni Ottenheimer. Moses Fuchs married Hannah Fox, daughter of Morris Fox and Mary Lieben, on 20 November 1887 at Weiser, Idaho, Mose Fuchs and Hannah Fox wed in Washington Co. Territory with Isidor Fuchs & Manny Fox as witnesses.4 In late 1901 Moses Fuchs proposed to patent a group of claims in the Great Copper Camp. This was reported on in the Idaho Daily Statesman.5 Moses Fuchs was the Washington county chairman of the Democratic Party. in 1915.6 Herman Fuchs wrote to his brother, Moses, about Germany's preparedness for the war in 1915. This letter was reported on in the Morning Oregonian on 19 January 1915.7 He was a manager at Sam-O-Springs.8
     Moses Fuchs was listed as the head of household on the 1930 census on 1 April 1930 2500 Main St., Baker, Baker Co., Oregon. Also living in the house was, his son, Henry A Levy, his daughter, Hannah Fox and Gertrude Fuchs, his son-in-law, Gus S. Levy.8 Moses Fuchs died on 10 June 1948 at 2310 Church Street, Baker, Baker Co., Oregon, at age 83.1 He was buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Baker, Oregon.2
