     Gutel Schlesinger was born on 8 April 1783 at Pforzheim, Baden, Germany.1,3 She married Kauffmann Berg, son of Hayum Veit and Hindel Benjamin, circa 1802.1,4 Her married name was Berg. Gutel Schlesinger died on 18 October 1842 at Grötzingen, Baden, Germany, at age 59.2

Einkauf" on 3 Elul 5562 (30 or 31 August 1802), or that Kaufmann paid 9 florins from his wife's, Gutel's, dowry of 1800 florins. This enabled Gutel to be buried in the Obergrombach cemetery and was paid at the time of Kaufmann and Gutel's marriage. Additionally, Kaufmann and Gutel's daughter was listed as having been born in October 1802.
