As of 15 December 1879,her married name was Karlebach. Jeanette Schwabacher applied for an Immigration Visa as a quota immigrant on 13 January 1939 at U.S. Consulate, Stuttgart, Württemberg, Germany. She was described as 5 feet 2/12 inches tall with grey hair and greyblue eyes. Jeanette Schwabacher was traveling to her her son, Louis Karlebach, who resided at 619 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, Florida. She immigrated on 12 May 1939 to New York, New York, aboard the S.S. Washington. She received her first citizenship papers in November 1939 at District Court of the Untied States, New York, New York.
