He was traveling with $12 and was going to Uncle Mr. Jordan, at 1433 S. 2nd Street, Philadelphia, Pa. Written in, probably upon arrival is, Sister Frieda Baer, 8115 West End Ave.² He married Eva Tachner on 2 April 1911 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.^1,4 Herman Baer was a butcher.¹ He died on 12 April 1945 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at age 56.¹

     Betti Baer was also known as Betta Bär. She married J. Milton Coleman.² Betti Baer was born on 18 May 1890 at Untergrombach, Baden, Germany.^3,4 She was the daughter of Karl Bär and Lina Mannheimer. Betti Baer is listed in the EIDB with the name Betty Bar on Series T715, Roll 1627, Frame 709 arriving on 9 February 1911 on the ship The Roon but did not sail.⁵ She is listed in the EIDB arriving at the port of New York with the name Betty Bär on Series, Roll, Frame arriving on 2 April 1911 on the ship Prinz Friedrich Wilhelm. Betty was traveling to her brother-in-law, A. Jordan, who resided at 3054 Richards Street (??), Philadelphia. She was 5 feet 4 inches tall, had black hair and brown eyes.⁵ As of 1968, Betti Baer was also known as Betty Coleman.⁶ She died on 13 August 1976 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pennsylvania, at age 86.¹

     Lisetta Bär was also known as Lisette McCusker.¹ She was born on 16 March 1892 at Untergrombach, Baden, Germany.² She was the daughter of Karl Bär and Lina Mannheimer.

     Lina Mannheimer was also known as Karoline Mannheimer.¹ Her married name was Bär. She married Karl Bär, son of Judas Loeb Bär and Johanna (Hanna) Hochberger. Lina Mannheimer was born on 10 January 1862 at Odenheim, Baden, Germany.^2,3 She was the daughter of Leopold Mannheimer and Babette Lichter.¹ Lina Mannheimer died on 10 January 1941 at age 79.⁴ She was buried at Jewish Section, Woodlawn Park North Cemetery, Miami, Miami-Dade, Florida.⁴

     Paul Emil Baer was also known as Emil Karl Bär. He married Ethel (?)¹ Paul Emil Baer was born on 20 October 1894 at Untergrombach, Baden, Germany.^1,2 He was the son of Karl Bär and Lina Mannheimer. Paul Emil Baer lived between 1942 and 1968 at Key West, Florida.³ He died on 31 July 1968 at Key West, Florida, at age 73.^1,3 He was buried at Jewish Section, Woodlawn Park North Cemetery, Miami, Miami-Dade, Florida.⁴

     Bernard C. Baer was also known as Bernhard Bär. He was born on 18 June 1898 at Untergrombach, Baden, Germany.² He was the son of Karl Bär and Lina Mannheimer. Bernard C. Baer served in World War I.² He married Hannah C. Lipkin on 17 August 1926 at West Chester, Pennsylvania.² Bernard C. Baer died on 24 November 1941 at Miami, Miami-Dade, Florida, at age 43.^3,1 He was buried at Jewish Section, Woodlawn Park North Cemetery, Miami, Miami-Dade, Florida.⁴

     Seligmann Hochberger was born on 15 August 1821 at Esslingen, Württemberg, Germany.¹ He was the son of Moses Anschel Hochberger and Lea Kusiel. Seligmann Hochberger married Julie Thalheimer, daughter of Loeb Manasse Thalheimer and Bräunle Kaufmann, on 14 November 1848. Seligmann Hochberger died on 23 March 1872 at Esslingen, Württemberg, Germany, at age 50.

     Nanette Stein was born on 21 February 1843.² She was the daughter of Jakob Hirsch Stein and Helena Minger.³ Nanette Stein married Kaufmann Bär, son of Judas Loeb Bär and Helene Hochberger, on 3 August 1868 at Untergrombach, Baden, Germany.² As of 3 August 1868,her married name was Bär. Nanette Stein died on 15 May 1914 at Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany, at age 71.^4,3 She was buried at New Jewish Cemetery, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.⁴

     Hedwig Bär was born on 24 April 1869 at Untergrombach, Baden, Germany.^1,2 She was the daughter of Kaufmann Bär and Nanette Stein. Hedwig Bär married Nathan Heymann on 12 November 1893 at Bruchsal, Baden, Germany.³ As of 12 November 1893,her married name was Heymann.

     Nathan Heymann was born in 1863 at Czempin, Poland. He married Hedwig Bär, daughter of Kaufmann Bär and Nanette Stein, on 12 November 1893 at Bruchsal, Baden, Germany.¹
