Bertha Fuchs immigrated on 4 May 1904 to New York, New York, aboard the Prinzess Alice which sailed from Bremen, Germany. She was traveling to her aunt Caroline Epstein.1 She married Herman Wohlgemuth circa 1909.2 As of circa 1909,her married name was Wohlgemuth. Bertha Fuchs and Herman Wohlgemuth appeared on the census of 1930 at 798 Mound Street, Columbus, Franklin, Ohio; Herman Wohlgemuth paid $35 in rent per month. The family owned a radio.2 Bertha Fuchs died on 4 February 1955 at Ohio at age 71.3 She was buried on 7 February 1955 at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Franklin, Ohio, in Section 91, Plot 216, Grave 2.3
