     As of 1870, Giovanni Mical was also known as Giovanni Micallo.1 He was born on 24 June 1871 at Chiaia neighborhood, Naples, Italy.2,3 He was the son of Vincenzo Micallo and Domenica Viscalzieri. Giovanni Mical immigrated on 13 October 1894 to New York, New York, from Liverpool, England.4 He married Maria Della Monica, daughter of Fiorentino Alfonzo Della Monica and Filomena Penna, on 21 March 1896 at Brewster, New York.5,6,7
     Giovanni Mical was listed as the head of household on the 1900 census on 1 June 1900 12 Henry Street, Danbury, Fairfield, Connecticut. Also living in the house was his wife, Maria Della Monica, his son, James Harry Michaels, his daughter, Minnett Michaels and Blanche Michaels. The 1920 Census information for the Barkin family appears to be largely incorrect. Ida Barkin, Rose's daughter, also appears listed with the family although she had married James H. Michaels six months prior to the 1920 Census. She is also recorded with her new husband. Rose's age is listed as 29, when in fact it should be about 36 - 40. Abe is listed as being 10 years old, when he is in fact 18. There is a sister-in-law included in the household, Bertha (perhaps Beckie), who if it is Beckie Schindler, is included with her husband in Brooklyn as well.17 As of 21 May 1923,her married name was Mitrany.18,19 She married Alex Mitrany on 21 May 1923 at Brooklyn, Kings, New York.18,19
     Rose Schindler was listed as the head of household on the 1930 census in 1930 206 Broome Street, New York, New York. Also living in the house was, her son, Abraham Barkin. Rose Barkin paid $13 dollars a month in rent. According to the census, she was 40 years old, widowed, and able to read and write. She as well as both her parents were born in Russia and her mother tongue was Yiddish.20 Rose Schindler lived before September 1958 at 26 Suffolk Street, New York, New York.21 (an unknown value.)21 She died on 23 August 1962 at Pilgrim State Hospital, West Brentwood, Suffolk County, New York, at age 78.22 She was buried on 5 September 1962 at Pilgrim State Hospital Cemetery, West Brentwood, Suffolk County, New York.22

Sol Fromm was also known as Sally Fromm.1 He was the son of Seligmann Fromm and Ricka Strauß.2 Sol Fromm was also known as Salomon Fromm. He served in ther German Artillary from 1 January 1915 to 15 March 1919.3 He married Bertha Goldschmidt, daughter of Heinrich Goldschmidt and Rosa Bär, on 21 December 1930 at Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany.1 Sol Fromm and Bertha Goldschmidt lived from 3 April 1934 to March 1939 at Augustenstr. 44, Stuttgart, Württemberg, Germany.4 Sol Fromm applied for an Immigration Visa as a quota immigrant on 20 February 1939 at U.S. Consulate, Stuttgart, Württemberg, Germany.5 He and Bertha Goldschmidt immigrated on 30 March 1939 to New York, New York, aboard the SS Manhattan, which departed from Hamburg, Germany. He received his first citizenship papers on 11 August 1939 at District Court of the Untied States, New York, New York. He lived on 11 August 1939 at 601 W 140th Street, New York, New York.1 He was a butcher on 29 November 1940 at L. Bartel Co., 2304 Twelfth Ave., New York, New York.3 He was a traveling salesman in 1944.6

Sol Fromm filed a Petition for Naturalization on 10 August 1944 at District Court of the Untied States, New York, New York.1 He witnessed the naturalization of Sol Fromm on 22 January 1945 at District Court of the Untied States, New York, New York; 50.7 He died on 8 December 1971 at age 76.
