He was a salesman on 5 October 1940 at Prudential Life Insurance Co., 1017 Commerce Bldg., St. Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota, USA. He lived on 5 October 1940 at 77 N. Milton Apt. 304, St. Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota, USA. He was naturalized on 24 June 1943 at United States District Court, St. Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota, USA.2 He married Alice Johanna Juliusburger, daughter of Joseph Juliusburger and Erna Glaser, on 11 March 1945.3 Paul Baer died on 22 January 1978 at Colorado at age 68.4,5 He was buried at Mt. This information was told to me by Johanna Elizabeth Rafael (today Betty Bledy). It seems that the name was incorrect but the died at birth element seems to be correct. He was born on 29 January 1892 at No. 1072, Gablonz, Böhmen, Austria-Hungary.2 He was the son of Max Rafael and Berta Jacobsen. Carl Rafael died on 25 August 1892 at No. 1072, Gablonz, Böhmen, Austria-Hungary.3

     Another source suggests that Arthur Felix Calzareth was born on 29 July 1886 at Oliveto Citra, Salerno, Campania, Italy.1,2 He was born on 30 July 1886 at Via Scalelle, Oliveto Citra, Salerno, Campania, Italy.3,4,5 He was the son of Gaetano Calzaretta and Emilia Del Giudice.3 Arthur Felix Calzareth was baptized on 12 August 1886 at Church of S. Maria della Misericordia, Oliveto Citra, Salerno, Campania, Italy.1 Arthur Felix Calzareth was also known as Attilio Felice Macario Calzaretta.4 He appeared on the census of 1 June 1905 in the household of Gaetano Calzaretta at 263 10th Avenue, New York, New York.6 Arthur Felix Calzareth lived in November 1915 at 612 E. 180th Street, Manhattan, New York, New York.7 He married Rosina Troia, daughter of Domenico Troia and Rocca Maria Taddeo, on 11 November 1915 at Municipal Building, Manhattan, New York, New York, Arthur's petition for naturalization lists his and Rose's marriage date as 9 January 1916. It seems possible that Rose and Arthur first married civilly and later had a religious ceremony, which may have been the date that they recognized as their anniversary.8,7 Arthur Felix Calzareth was Barber. A member of the barber's union.9
     Arthur Felix Calzareth was listed as the head of household on the 1930 census on 19 April 1930 63-40 84th Street, Queens, New York. Also living in the house was his wife, Rosina Troia, his son, Arthur John Calzareth, his daughter, Anne Calzareth, his sister-in-law, Frances Troia. Arthur Felix Calzareth lived at 540 Southern Blvd., Bronx, New York.10 He lived at 63-40 84 Street, Elmhurst, Queens, New York.2 He registered during the Fourth Draft Registration of World War II on 27 April 1942 at Local Draft Board Nr. 252, Queens, New York. He was residing at 63-40 Eighty-Fourth Street, Forest Hills, Queens, NY and his mailing address was the same. His telephone number was none. His date and place of birth were July 29, 1886 at St. Joseph, Italy. The name and address of "Person who will always know your address" were Mrs. Rose Calzareth, 63-40 84th St., Forest Hills, NY. He was employed by Frank D'Agati at Invincible Barber Shop, 200 W. 36th St., New York, NY. The description of the registrant was race: white, eyes: hazel, hair: black, complexion: ruddy, height: 5' 5 1/2 " weight:165 pounds. Additional information provided: The registrar did not have knowledge of his claim to be a naturalized U.S. citizen.11 He lived between February 1950 and August 1960 at 42 Norfeld Blvd., Elmont, Nassau, New York.12,13 Arthur filed a petition for naturalization 27 September 1959 Supreme Court, Mineola, Nassau, New York.14 He died on 27 August 1960 at St. Claire's Hospital, Manhattan, New York, New York, at age 74 from bronchopneumonia contracted following injuries incuding multiple fractures of the pelvis and left lower extremity resulting from being hit by a truck on August 16, 1960 at the intersection of 36th Street and 8th Avenue in New York City.15,16 He was buried on 31 August 1960 at St. Charles Cemetery, Pinelawn, New York.17

     Norbert Bär was born on 1 November 1909 at Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. He was the son of Julius Bär and Zilly Schwarzwälder. Norbert Bär was also known as Norbert Baer. Norbert left Germany in 1936 and went to Palestine where he stayed, lived and worked until April 1957. He then visited with Blanka's sister in Switzerland and arrived in the United States in June 1957.1 He married Blanka Reutlinger on 23 January 1951 at Haifa, Israel.1 Norbert Bär died on 15 April 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam, New York, at age 97.2
